Making A Quick Profit On The Internet

Is it possible to make a quick profit on the internet? I hesitate about mentioning this method as it needs to be done with care, but if followed with a good understanding of the principles involved, it is certainly capable of paying well to those who know how to "play the game".

Normally, this marketing strategy would be done in conjunction with article submission, free SEO traffic, etc, but these take time to build up. A speedier method of generating Adsense income is to use Pay Per Click (PPC).

Using a form of traffic arbitrage, low cost keywords are bid for on Google and a few of the other PPC search engines. They are directed to higher paying Adsense pages. Of course, the pages receiving the traffic need to be carefully set up so that they attract the higher paying Adsense ads.

The downside is that you have to pay for PPC traffic but it can be tested as you go and closely monitored. Google allows a budget to be set.

Several key factors in particular need to be considered at the outset:

1. High Paying Keywords.

Although you might have a burning interest in South American Parrots, that doesn't mean the internet browsing population shares this interest - at least to the extent of being willing to click on ads which offer products and services on this topic. So be sure to check whether your interest is likely to produce Adsense ads that pay well for each click. For instance, if you are paying 5 cents per click to receive visitors and you're receiving only, say, 10 cents per click on an adsense ad, it isn't likely you'll do well financially. Only a small percentage of visitors - say 5% - to your site will click on an ad.

2. Relevance.

The keywords recognized by Google as most relevant to your web page influence the selection of the ad which actually appears there. So it's wise to choose content with high paying keywords if you wish to display high paying ads.

You also have to be sure that BOTH the ads and the content are relevant to your visitors. This is worth careful consideration. Your PPC promotion might be aimed at, say, those interested in dog training. This doesn't means ads for dog breeding will be of interest to those visitors - they would probably be more concerned with the every day behavior of the dog. For instance, obedience training, house training, how to stop barking, fighting, digging, etc.

Essentially, you are optimizing for Adsense - choosing keywords with a fairly high level of competition - rather than for the free traffic from search engines (which usually require a lot less competition if you are to attract them), although the two work together. When bidding for keywords with PPC - in effect, buying your traffic - you'll be choosing keywords (including synonyms and related words) that will attract the sort of traffic you'd expect to be interested in the Adsense ads that will appear on your web page. If the connection is too remote, they'll just move on.

Your web page needs to be relevant to BOTH the visitors and the Adsense program that selects the ads that will appear. Don't underestimate the importance of this factor.

3. Low Cost Keywords.

If you are paying the same price for keywords that you receive from the clicks on Adsense, then you are losing, not making a profit. Only about 5% of visitors can be expected to click on one of the ads on your webpage, so you will need to attract a lot of inexpensive traffic. Using Pay Per Click (PPC), such as Adwords (Google) you may be able to find related terms. For instance, instead of "dog", have a look at "pooch", "puppy", or specific animals, such as "Labrador".

As well, Google is not the only store in town. A number of other search engines exist that will charge a lot less for closely related keywords. They don't have the same volume of traffic, but it all helps. Alternatives include FindWhat, Ah-Ha, and Brainfox for starters.

4. Tracking Advertising.

When you are using multiple sources of advertising to attract website traffic, some will prove to be more useful - profitable - than others. It's crucial that you know which sources are working for you and which are merely costing you money. There are a number of commercial Ad Tracking services available. There are also some free scripts that are offered from time to time with the major giveaway joint ventures.

Another way of keeping track of your traffic sources is to have a separate landing page for each source. If you have good website reporting, statistics provided by your webhost will indicate which search engines are sending you traffic.

Usually, if set up without time pressures, by combining with free traffic from feeder pages (articles) average cost per visitor will be reduced, allowing room for a profit margin.

It has to be done carefully though. For instance, you have to be sure that the pages with Adsense attract high paying ads. You can't just put up websites willy-nilly without checking ahead of time whether this is likely to happen.

Remember, if you are setting up niche websites that are optimized for the search engines, aiming for free traffic, naturally you will be looking for "undiscovered" niches that are relatively less competitive so that you can rank well with the search engines.

However, if you are using PPC, you actually WANT a fair (but not excessive) amount of competition for your keywords in the hope that the Adsense ads will pay well when visitors click on them. Much of your time will be spent searching for low cost alternative keywords and sources that you can use to drive traffic to your web pages.

Adsense, How Much Are You Generating?

It is a wonderful autumn day, the leaves on the trees are turning yellow and as you walk toward your front gate you see the postcard perfect scene playing out down the street. Happy children enjoying the beginnings of life with a seemingly careless attitude to what the future holds, life is all in this moment. Is this a feeling that you can vividly remember from your childhood days?

You open your postbox and see your Google Adsense cheque has arrived, excitedly you open the crumpled envelope wondering why the postman had been so careless with your valuable asset. This month you have reached the four figure sum, and you know it will look like that for months to come.

It is a good feeling isn't it? For most internet marketers however it is a three figure sum every few months. So why is that?

Adsense ads on your web pages have become a huge income generating and profitable enterprise for many a web master and site owner. There has been proof of five figure sums being paid and four figure sums have become a regular occurrence. But to most of us it seems to be a dream that only others can achieve. We are only receiving crumbs falling from the kings table, if any.

To make money with Adsense ads, the ads need to be seen. To get them seen you need traffic to your website, lots of traffic.

So lets get to the crux of the matter, how do you get paid that seemingly elusive four figure sum for your Adsense ads.

You receive traffic to your site, and make it profitable by generic searches from the search engines. That in effect means you need your pages to rank high and get top 10 positions in generic searches.

Find and determine the top paying Adsense keywords within a niche.

Once you have found the high paying keyword phrase you must optimize your page for the Google Adsense display.

High paying keywords means they are highly sought after, I think we all get that. Do not try to optimize your page for that keyword phrase in a generic search engine placement, it is suicidal to say the least.

Think of this as a dual setup, if I can say it like that. Find a keyword phrase where you are able to rank high in the search engines for your page optimization which is related to the phrase of your Adsense ads.

Lets do this with an example to make it more understandable.

Take the broad search term “internet marketing” and see which keyword phrase pays the highest for clicks.

“Expert internet marketing” comes up at the top where advertisers are paying between $13 and $16 per click. The term, according to Overture, receives 2474 searches per month, take that times seven, and you have the approximate Google searches per month.

Type the search term into Google and you will see that the term pops up with nearly 80 million other sites. The PR rankings for the first ten results vary from 7 to 5. The top 6 sites don't even run Adsense ads. You can try and aim for the top 10 position for that search term, but with a new page I would rather have a highly intellectual chat with the dog, you will get the same result.

So how do you get clicks on these high paying terms.

You optimize for a high ranking in one search term, and you optimize another keyword phrase for Adsense to get the top paying keywords. That's it in a nutshell.

Lets have a look for a related term to our Adsense phrase. With a related term search for “expert internet marketing” the keyword term “kjhsdksfd” came up. A search in Google returned a total of 1480 results showing up as “Ebay auction or kjhsdksfd” in the main heading. The most interesting fact is that this term was searched in Overture 1231 times in the last month. Now take that figure times seven and you have the approximate Google search results. That means there are more than 5000 searches per month for this term, and it is related to our keyword phrase from Google Adsense. The pages in the top 10 results have a PR ranking from 2 to 0 which means that if we do some good page optimization you can easily rank in the top ten.

If you get just 100 visitors clicking on your Adsense ad, imagine what your income will be!

Here is an idea on how to set up your page.

Your title tag should read “kjhsdksfd | expert internet marketing | ebay”

“expert internet marketing resources and ideas, where and how to find, maximize your ebay income, kjhsdksfd” In the description meta tag

“kjhsdksfd, expert internet marketing, ebay” in your meta keyword tag

“ kjhsdksfd Or Ebay Auctions And Internet Marketing Ideas” in your “H1” tag

“expert internet marketing resources and ideas to assist you in driving more targeted traffic to your site and increasing your ebay income” in your “H2” heading.

Then write your own article, or mix more than two PLR articles to about 400 words. Use the term kjhsdksfd about 3 times, the phrase “expert internet marketing” about 4 to 5 times and ebay 2 times. Spread them evenly throughout the text, not all in one paragraph.

Place two or three Google Adsense blocks within your page.

By optimizing your page in this manner you can get a top ranking for your search keyword term in Google, and you already know this is a searched term, and you have optimized your page to display Google Adsense ads for a high paying phrase “internet marketing expert”.

That is on-page optimization, for off-page you will need some links. Find related pages and look for about ten related back links to your site.

Do this for all your pages within your different niches to maximize your Adsense income.

This is a lot of work to do for just one page, but if you want the top paying keywords to be clicked on your pages, you need to put in the effort, and you will be rewarded handsomely.

First things first, get the dog a nice juicy bone, and take yourself for a walk, get some fresh air and set your mind in motion again. Experience that childhood feeling of living in the moment.

The AdSense Formula for Making Money

I often get asked what the secret is to making money with Google's AdSense program. This often comes from people who are dreaming of setting up websites chock full of high-paying keywords for particular niche subjects and then sitting back and watching the money roll in. "What's the magic formula?" they ask me. If they're non-technical, I point them straight to my first AdSense book, Make Easy Money with Google, and assure them that they'll learn everything they need from it. They may think it's hard, but it's not.

But what about the technical people? By this I mean the people who've already set up a blog or website, who have registered domain names, who are comfortable with basic Internet terminology and concepts. What is the "AdSense formula"?

The only AdSense formula that you need to know is this:

earnings = number of clicks * average price per click

This is what I call the Fundamental AdSense Formula because you can derive almost every AdSense "secret" directly or indirectly from this formula. Do you want to earn more with AdSense? You have two ways of doing it:

Increase the number of clicks, and/or
Increase the average price per click

Your earnings will only go up if you do one or the other, and ideally both. It's an obvious formula, yes, but it's amazing how many people lose sight of it in their quest for increased AdSense earnings.

Increasing the Number of AdSense Clicks

Increasing the number of times the ads on your site or blog are clicked is the most obvious strategy. There are two general strategies you can follow:

Increase the traffic to the site, and/or
Adjust the ads to make them more "clickable"

Getting traffic is hard and takes time, so don't look at it as a quick fix. The best way to get traffic is to provide useful, unique content and to rank highly in search engine rankings for keywords related to that content. In other words, use standard search engine optimization techniques. DO NOT "buy" traffic or use "link farms" or other dubious techniques. Other tips for getting traffic:

Publish articles, even free ones, with links back to your site.
Include a link to your site in the signature at the bottom of your emails or in any forum postings you make (if the forum allows it).
Participate in forums/groups related to the content of your site or blog. The key is to participate, not lurk, and don't just post messages promoting your site.
Add comments (relevant ones only, please) to other blogs, you can usually link back to yours. (This won't help your search engine rankings, but it may allow others who are reading those comments to find your own site.)
Syndicate your content (trivial if you have a blog) and make sure that the content is registered with syndication aggregators.
List your site in relevant directories.

Adjusting the ads is something you can do almost immediately:

Position the ads on the page in order to make them more noticeable. Google even publishes a helpful heat map for AdSense publishers.
Choose the best AdSense ad format that works for your site.
Change the ad colors either to make the ads blend in with your site or to make them stand out. Again, it varies depending on the site.

Whatever you do, DO NOT ENTICE VISITORS TO CLICK THE ADS. Google is very strict about this, see the AdSense program policies for the details.

Increasing the Average AdSense Price Per Click

Increasing the average price per click you receive from AdSense is the other strategy for increasing your overall AdSense earnings. You can do this by:

Carefully targeting your content, and/or
Filtering out and avoiding low-paying ads

Content targeting isn't just about creating relevant, unique content. It's also making sure that that content is written to target the higher-paying keywords associated with a given topic. This means:

Figuring out which keyword variations for that topic pay more. Often the more specialized variations and phrases pay more than the "generic" terms.

Ensuring that the keyword density of the content favors the higher-paying keyword variations. See the Vioxx Lawsuits page for an example of well-targeted ads due to appropriate keyword density.

And to reduce the occurrence of lower-paying ads, consider these two strategies:

Use AdSense's competitive filter mechanism to screen out the ads that you don't want.
Show fewer ads on a page. The fewer ads you show, the more the higher-paying ads get displayed and clicked.

Many publishers also report that their earnings increase if they remove ads completely from pages with few or no clicks. Again, the "less is more" strategy favors the higher-paying ads.

There's No Magic

As you can see, there's no magic involved to increasing your AdSense earnings. The Fundamental AdSense Formula is easy to understand, but that doesn't mean it's easy to apply the formula. It takes time and effort to do it, just like most things.

Top Paying Adsense Keywords - It's Not Just the Keywords...

Google adsense has been a magnificent way for webmasters to increase their revenue because they can turn their traffic into money. The more traffic you have, the more potential you have for earning money.

Many sites on the Internet, including mine, give out information on the top paying adsense keywords. These are the keywords that have been bid on the most on Google Adwords or Miva etc. It must be said though that the figure advertisers are bidding for these keywords is nowhere near what you will receive as a webmaster.

For example, let’s take the keyphrase “Car Insurance”. Advertisers are bidding between $42.53 - $53.95 for this keyphrase. Before you work out roughly how much you could earn, you need to do the following:

Make sure that your website contains lots of content surrounding your chosen keyword. Do not put in the keyphrase hundreds of times; just make sure that you have evenly ‘sprinkled’ your phrase in your content. It needs to read well, and it needs to be informative to your visitors.

Make sure that your keyphrase is in your main heading.

Make sure, if you can, that your keyphrase is your subheading. For numbers 2 & 3, you can add other words to your heading and subheading, but just make sure that your phrase is within it.

Make sure that if you have any images relating to your keyphrase, that the ‘alt text’ contains that phrase.
Right, now that you have ensured the above, you have increased the chances of earning top money when Google Adsense ads are placed and clicked on your website.

The general rule for working out how much you could expect to earn is to take the average Google Adwords CPC (i.e. – how much they are bidding for your keyphrase of interest), divide it by 2, and then divide that figure by 10.

The amount you get left with is a conservative figure for what you could expect to earn.

For example; the average CPC for car insurance is approximately $48.24.

$48.24 / 2 = $24.12

$24.12 / 10 = $2.41

As I just mentioned, this is an extremely conservative figure, but it is a lot more realistic that you will earn $2.41 when you start advertising for this keyphrase to begin with. It is very likely, as I will explain below, that this figure will increase if your site receives lots of traffic, has a high page ranking, and is therefore reputable to Google.

You must remember that Google knows if your website has just appeared up overnight, and there is no way that the top bidders’ adverts for your chosen keyphrase will be put up on your site. That makes sense though, because if you were an advertiser bidding $50 say for car insurance, you wouldn’t want your highly priced ad to appear on an overnight site, you would much prefer that it appeared on a very popular and reputable site.

Therefore, what you need to bear in mind is that as your site increases in popularity and page ranking, you will gradually get higher priced ads appearing on your site, which means that you will increase your earnings potential.

Many of these websites offering the top paying adsense keywords fail to mention these points, and many webmasters often become confused when they are only earning a few dollars per click instead of $50, which they were led to believe.

I hope this article has helped you understand a little bit more about Google Adsense. There is definitely a lot of money to be earnt from this opportunity, but these things take time and effort. If they didn’t, wouldn’t you be suspicious?

Ultimate Google Adsense Secret (for free)

(can be found from expensive e-books and from this free article)

Introduction

In our previous articles you read that to maximize your Google Adsense revenue, you should have some seo done, you should have ads on more than 1 website, you should have high traffic and more importantly, targeted traffic. To get that traffic, you are advised to optimize your website for search engines (this is called SEO). You have learnt that if you get 1000 visitors a day and if you acchive at least 1% of them to click on your ads (which is a low click-trough-rate or CTR), and if one click is somewhere between $0.1 or $0.5, you get $1-5 a day (because 10 x 0.1 = 1).

You are wasting your time and traffic if you are having 500-1000 unique visitors a day and you're only making $1-5 a day. Lots of e-books are saying they've found the secret, they've found the goose that lays the golden eggs, they say they know how to squeeze more revenue from Adsense. But guess what, we've also found the secret, and we are giving it away for free!

How To Maximize Google Adsense Revenue

The main key to maximize your Google Adsense profits is to try getting ads targeted on high-paying-keywords. Instead of $0.5 from one click, you could make $5-30 from one click, which then means that to make serious money, you might only need 100 visitors a day. The key is to find those high-paying-keywords. Only one service that we know is showing you the prices of keywords.

Using Google Adwords To Find Keyword Price

Google AdWords? Yes, Google Adwords is for advertisers but you can register. Of course, it would be polite if you'd also use this service in the future in the proper way and if you would pay for some campaign. When registering an account with Google Adwords, lots of people stop right in the beginning because they see that they need to set up an advertisement campaign. Yes, you must set it up first, but you don't have to pay for it yet. You can pay for the campaign later (or you can stop using this service and not to pay at all). In the meanwhile you can use Adwords tools, like Keyword Pricing Tool etc.

When you're setting up campaigns, Google wants you to enter some keywords to target your ads for the right audience. When you're typing in the keywords, it shows you the possible prices of the keywords. Lets say, if you want to check the price of a keyword "broker", you just type "broker" into the field and Google shows you that you need to pay $25-30 for each click that is targeted to broker keywords. So in general, lets say that you see a website and it's content is about brokers and brokering, and it also has some ads on, it's pretty sure that the site might get 25 dollars from each click on those ads, of course, only if broker ads are shown at all, if the webmaster has had a good job optimizing the website and optimizing the content for those keywords.

Practical Use Of This Secret?

If you have a website and some content or you're planning to make a website, get as much as keywords from your industry that you can think of or that you can find and use some "keywords tools" (which can be found from the tools section) and find relative keywords for them. Find how many times are they searched for etc., too. Then check the price of your industry specific and relative keywords with Adwords, find the keyword that pays the most.

Then optimize your content for that specific keyword, or if you want to make your site more optimized, choose the keyword that is searched for more than others and that pays high, too and then optimize your content for that keyword. How to do that? Read keyword optimization articles, which can be found from our article section, too.

That's it, now you know how to really maximize your Google Adsense revenue. Now you know the secret that e-books are selling for $49-99. You got it free. Thank you for reading this article and thank you for not wasting your money on things that you can get for free

You are advised to check out Manfred-Knows.com for more articles like this. You can also find information on how to optimize your website with keywords etc.

Google Adsense and Top Paying Keywords

For starters, to make good money from Google Adsense™ you need to optimise your website with top paying keywords. For Google™ to know what ads to serve on your site, it has to send a robot (software with specific instructions) to scan your site and know what it is all about (your website’s theme). On the basis of the results obtained from that scan (which takes a flash), Google™ will go ahead and serve you with ads that match your site’s content (Adsense).

This is where the much talked about top paying keywords come in. If the theme of your website is centred on a certain topic for example Holiday Tours, Google™ will serve ads on your site relating to holiday tours. So all you need to do is to find the top paying keywords for your niche and optimise them for your site. By optimising I mean using the keywords in your title, description and body (Note: Optimisation means more than this, it is fairly complex and I will save that discussion for another day).

But is that all? That all you need to do is to find top paying keywords, use them to optimise your site and you will be served with ads that will reward you a couple of dollars per click? Definitely not and I will tell you why. Let us use ‘Holiday Tours’ as our top paying keyword and let us assume that it pays $15 a click (bear in mind that there are keywords that cost up to $50 a click). Taking that keyword and using it to optimise your website does not necessarily mean that Google™ will serve you with ads that will earn you say $5 or $10 a click. Why?

Reason being that there are many advertisers who could be bidding for that keyword. Yes some could be paying $15, but again there are those who will pay as low as 5 cents for the same keyword. Now this is the trouble. Google™ could be serving you ads relevant to your theme, but those ads could be costing as low as 10 cents and hence low payouts. There are speculations as to what criteria Google™ uses to serve high paying keywords. Some say it is the age of you website, the older the better, some say the popularity, the higher the ranking the better. These once again are rumours and none of these guys work for Google™.

The lesson here is that do not think that all you need to do is to grab high paying keywords, use them to optimise your website and you will get high paying clicks. It takes more than that. And if that was the case, trust me, we could all be displaying high cost ads on our sites and earning thousands, but unfortunately it is not the case. So for those paying a premium for “high paying keywords”, you may want to think twice before you part with your hard earned dollar. In any case you can get high paying keywords for free, yes I mean without paying a cent.

The Sensible Way To Earn Money With Google AdSense!

Dear friends,

Google AdSense has rapidly gained a status of an independent online business model. Many average people with a little knowledge of HTML are earning a fortune with AdSense.

The AdSense comes under the category of "pay per click affiliate" programs. This means you get paid when someone click on the ad which resides on your website.

There are many reason for the success of the AdSense program. The very first reason is it is launched by Google, the leaders of Search Engines. After establishing themselves in the crowd of Search Engines they had a crown of credibility with them.

The second reason for the popularity lies in the fact that Google is not concerned about the amount of traffic you are getting to your website.

They are more concerned about content. If the content is really good your site will generate visitors over a period of time. This is unlike many other pay per click affiliate programs, which have a condition on the number of visitors you are getting per day, before your application gets approved.

This creates an interesting situation for online entrepreneurs. The more the traffic they generate to their site, the more is the possibility to get the AdSense ad clicked and they get paid.

Now Google also benefits from this. Since AdSense ads are nothing but the same ads from the Google AdWords account holders, Google charges the AdWords account holder of that particular ad which is being clicked and pays a small portion to the webmaster on whose website the AdSense ad resides.

The amount which Google charges the AdWords account holder and pays the AdSense account holder is determined entirely by the online popularity of the given "keyword" for which the ad was written by the AdWords account holder.

This is where the real opportunity has come up for online newcomers. Most people put a lot of energy in finding "high paying" keywords or simply purchase a database of "high paying keywords", create a small website around the keyword, put AdSense code in it and start generating traffic which might click on the ad and expect to get paid high.

But here is the real kicker! The amount which you get paid is dependent of 5 different factors. Some of the factors are out of the control of the webmaster (you).

For example if a keyword phrase pays something around $14 to $15 per click. Most people think that even if they get a 1% click through rate, that is 1 person clicks out of 100 visiting their website, Google will put $14 in my account. Yes it's true, but not always!

The amount which you get paid, depends on which ad gets shown on your website. The ad which gets shown on your website is dependent upon the relevancy and lot more other factors.

The true success with AdSense lies not on targeting only "high paying" keywords, but with focusing on creating highly informative content and getting repeat visitors. Google loves content. If you provide it on your website you will automatically get more visitors and increase the possibility of high click through rate which leads to more income to you and Google.

So, learn to build traffic first and then fine tune your website with AdSense script to start earning immediately. The true success with AdSense is with generating content rich pages and attracting traffic. "High paying keywords" is a secondary factor with AdSense

High Paying Lateral Keywords

If you run AdSense on your site you know that some words pay more than others, much more in fact. More than likely you have also learned that terms like "structured settlements" and "mesothelioma" can produce incredibly high PPC revenue, if they show up on your site at all. Unfortunately hundreds of thousands of other webmasters are "on" to this practice judging by the number of sites created regularly to capitalize on the phenomenom. So, where does this leave you? Out in the cold? No, by going after "lateral" keywords and terms you can produce a site that is even more profitable than these other sites. I will show you how you can do just that.

What do I mean by "high paying lateral keywords?" Essentially, these are words, or terms, that webmasters dismiss as not being relevant or are unrelated to certain high paying keywords. For instance, you know that the term "free adware" has a nice payout. You gear your article or page accordingly to have AdSense produce the lucrative ads and, instead, you come up with ads that are relevant but not big payers. Should you give up? No, of course not. Instead, research similar terms that can also serve up high paying ads and go with them. In this case the following could be considered:

adware blocker

adware removal

lavasoft adware

free adware removal

adware spy removal tool

remove adware

get adware

adware search and destroy

As you can see, each term contains the keyword "adware" but other words are added. In a recent survey that I conducted some of these "lateral" keywords/terms paid even more than the "free adware" terms. In addition, some nice ads were served up too.

What about mesothelioma? Isn't that a hot keyword? Yes, and an overworked one. Lateral keywords for your consideration here can include:

lawyers

attorneys

asbestos cancer

lung cancer

personal injury lawyer

personal injury attorney

The common thread with these keywords? Mesothelioma wasn't even mentioned. Sure, when you think "attorney" or "lawyer" you think of ambulance chasing terms like: bextra, malpractice, and physician neglect. Heck, if other ads are served up instead of mesothelioma ads, do not despair. Chances are that the deep pocket lawyers give a nice payout per click for these keywords too!

Alright, one final example before I turn you loose to do your own research. The keywords: credit cards.

student credit card

airline credit card

business credit card

Visa credit cards

credit card consolidation

rewards credit cards

online credit cards

0% interest credit cards

cash back credit cards

credit card counseling

The options for some keywords are obviously greater than others. If you write your own articles and/or web content you may need to experiment in order to produce the highest paying keywords. Still, these "lateral" keywords will push up your profits almost as much as standard keywords. Now, go and do your own research!

There is no doubting the success of Google's Adsense program. Even Yahoo! and Kanoodle have joined in on the game, offering to join publishers with advertisers. Given the right circumstances, its a win / win situation for both.

There have been many sites that promote Top Paying Keywords and how if you add these keywords you can instantly improve your Adsense revenue. However, if you really want to see a dramatic increase in pay per clicks, you need to ensure 2 very important areas are addressed. They seem very obvious, but many site owners miss the opportunity to attract higher paying ads simply because they ignore these two areas.

Optimization

Many "would be" web designers decide to build a site around the highest paying keywords, yet, forget to optimize their site around a specific keyword. Instead, they forget the basics of how to properly create a title tag, page description, keyword density and having clean search engine spider friendly code. Remember, it's the source code that the Adsense and Kanoodle programs are using to decide what ads will appear. If your top 2 keywords are "insurance" and "downloads", you may find that you end up with ads regarding "insurance downloads" which of course will not pay much.

Also, having a high keyword density score for the keyword can get you into trouble with the search engines (specifically Google). Keywords spamming is never a good idea.

Optimize your page and you will search more hits to that page and not confuse the bots that create the ads for you.

Content

This is by far the most important and most missed tips. If you are going to include top paying keywords on your site, remember, if you want to attract high paying ads, you need to be selling your visitor on what your advertiser wants. Your content should sell to the visitors needs. Why should your visitor consider car insurance? What are the benefits of car insurance? Where can they get the best quotes? If you pique the interest of your visitor, they are more likely to click on your ads than if they feel that they are not getting the information they came to your site for in the first place.

Your content should have a specific flow to it. If you start jamming keywords into your content, your visitor will automatically suspect that you are trying to deceive them. Once you do that, they are gone! Why waste your visitors time after working so hard to get them to your site in the first place? Well optimized, focused content will always produce better, higher paying ads. That is why you are a publisher: you want those high paying ads on your site. What use though are those high paying keywords if your content doesn't pique your visitors curiosity? Be passionate about your content, and the click through rates will skyrocket!

Its also important to make sure that you are using the right number of ads per page, but that is for another article!

A Dead Simple Way To Increase Your Adsense Earnings

Do you know sometimes very small changes to your website can make a high impact on your adsense earnings? If you got a lot of clicks yet you only earn a small amount for each click, you can try to implement this strategy of mine.

This simple strategy is simply changing your webpage to target high paying adsense ads. Unless your website is in a niche where there aren’t many adsense ads, it should work for you.

First, you need to understand the connection between adsense and adwords. Adwords is where advertisers pay to put their advertisements on google and some will include it on the content network which is where you the adsense publisher comes in.

Google provides data to the advertisers to help them better their return on investment. Data such as estimated cost per click on each keyword, search volume, competitiveness etc is available to advertisers.

By reverse engineering, you can get this data as well. You can go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and simply enter your keyword and you can get the estimated cost per click for all related keywords.

Now that you know which keywords pays more, you can either change your existing webpages to include these keywords to trigger these advertisements or create new webpages targeting these keywords. You can even use the google adwords keyword tool to find even more keywords relating to your website.

One more tip, before implementing these high paying adsense keywords, you might want to run through your keyword tool to determine the competition. Some high paying keywords can be also very competitive and ideally, you want high paying adsense keywords that are not too competitive.

The Hidden "Extra Value" of High Paying Keywords

Nowadays everybody selling keyword lists focus only on the possible income one can generate with Google Adsense, thereby overlooking other lucrative opportunities that these lists can provide you with. So what do we know about these “High Paying Keyword Lists”?

The good ones are expensive and scarce.
Most people use them to identify what content they should write about on their site to “try” to get the high paying ads on their site.
Some people use them to have content “Automatically” generated for their sites (RSS, Searches, Page stuffers, etc.) What Nobody Tells you: These keywords are a GOLDMINE to determine Niche Markets; Hot High Paying Niche Markets. How else can you profit with this information other than with Adsense? By knowing people’s wants you can:
Generate affiliate income.
Write the next problem solving miracle e-book
Develop training videos to fulfill their needs
Develop Teleseminars on HOT Topics.
Generate traffic to your site
Create the content others “need” for their Adsense Sites and sell it to them
Grow your list with Hungry Paying customers.
Start a membership site
Determinate alternate words to lower you PPC investment.
Know what to sell on ebay
And much more.
The problem is when you become overwhelmed on the number of opportunity these lists provide. And even worse is when you freeze by not knowing what the most profitable decision will be. A personal recommendation is to create a list of the different projects you might want to develop, prioritize them and act on them one by one. Personally, many times I have believed I can multitask more than I really can, and have lost precious time trying to do too many things at once. And as we all know, if you try to do too many things at once, you end up doing nothing.

Do High Paying Google Adsense Keywords Really Work?

Do high paying google adsense keywords work? Yes without any doubt if you are targeting adsense ads that advertisers are willing to pay high to get targeted visitors because that would be an important business for them, you should really benefit. Instead of earning a few cents per click, you will earn several dollars per click. Now this is indeed a huge difference. This can quickly add up. Usually adsense ads that pay well are in competitive fields whereby it's difficult to get a top search engine ranking and advertisers are paying top dollars to get a high ranking on adwords along with the organic search engine listings. Adsense keywords like mesothelioma, asbestos cancer, asbestos, debt consolidation, refinance, home equity loans, structured settlement, acne, make money and others are among the top paying ones. The high paying adsense keywords usually range between $1-$50 but this is not static and can change depending how much advertisers are willing to pay for. But don't just think that it's that easy to cash in on those keywords.

First of all you need to build a useful website about one these topics preferably and not just adding pages having these type of content while on the other hand your site is about a completely different topic. Google has a system called smart pricing whereby if you are getting lots of clicks to a specific ad and generating good money from it, sometimes Google will try to level the playing field in an attempt to provide a better return on investment for the advertiser. In my opinion, this means that not every click counts the same, some clicks are way better and will tend to convert into either an online sale, a query, a subscriber etc... Google smart pricing model can estimate the value of a click eg based on the site relevance and adjusting prices on an ongoing basis be it lowering it to be just above the competitor's maximum cost per click and giving greater value to the advertiser.

By site relevance, it means - is the whole site dedicated to a specific topic or just a single web page? You can have a page on your site about photography techniques and your site is in fact about digital cameras. Someone who is displaying ads about digital cameras on his digital camera website will get better value for the clicks whereas someone displaying digital camera ads on a particular page on his photography website. The difference is how targeted the visitor is. If the advertiser is getting higher value so will the adsense publisher meaning more dollars per click.

For sure, you should try to get some high paying adsense keywords related to the theme of your website to increase profitability in your adsense business while at the same time driving targeted traffic to your pages.

Google Adsense Tips

Google Adsense is one of the easiest and most popular ways to monetize a website. I have used Adsense myself on several of my websites, and have made decent money doing so. For those of you who are not familiar with Adsense, it is simply an ad serving program run by Google. By pasting some code on your site, ads will be run on your site automatically, and you will make money for each click you generate. It’s easy enough to set up, but how exactly can you make the most of your Adsense ads?

Here are some Google Adsense tips to help your ads perform better:

1. Integrate the ads into your site as much as possible

Try using colors for you links that are similar to the colors on your site. And make sure you turn off the ad borders as well. You want your ads to look like ordinary links as much as possible.

2. Position ads toward the top

Here is a somewhat obvious Google Adsense tip: prominently placed ads results in better click-throughs. So don’t be shy and place your ads toward the top of the page, even if that seems too overt too you.

3. Don’t try to outsmart Google

Another obvious Google Adsense tip is to not get too clever in your efforts to generate clicks. Never click your own ads or try to cheat the system by hiring others to click your ads. Don’t use software to generate false clicks either. Google will eventually catch you, and your account will be closed.

4. Target keywords

Hopefully, if you set up your pages correctly, they are targeting certain keywords. These will usually be the same keywords to which your ads are targeted. Try to keep keyword density in the 2 – 5% range.

5. Test different ad formats

My final Google Adsense tip is to test different ad formats and colors. You’ll be amazed at how much you can improve your bottom line by testing different size ads in different places, with different colors.

There are of course tons of other Google Adsense tips, but these are the main ones that I have found useful in my own advertising campaigns. Try them out, and you may discover to your surprise that you can often improve ad click-throughs by 20% or more by making some rather simple changes.

You can learn a lot more about how to make money with adsense here.
